This website, based around the venue for the Footmark seminars, has been designed to show how simple and inexpensive interactive multimedia can be used on heritage websites to:
- create interest
- encourage learning for all ages - pre and post visit
- instil a desire to visit the venue and location
- provide access to areas not open to the public
- enhance a visitor's experience
- meet differing levels of ability
- enable feedback and community engagement about the venue
- demonstrate a cross museum approach for both learning and marketing
- show links with existing online resources to encourage personal investigation and awareness of other facilities
- create opportunities for local sponsorship
